Taiwanese violin maker Chen Han discovered his passion for music at the age of twelve through playing the cello. After graduating from a music-focused high school, he moved to Salt Lake City to study violin making at the Violin Making School of America, Salt Lake City , graduating in 2023.

Chen Han enjoys classical music and landscape photography, often spending weekends exploring new places through his camera lens. Chen Han also once discovered his favorite veggie burger at a lunch spot the workshop often goes to. He recommended it to Philip, and Philip loved it so much that he had it two days in a row.
